Required Action to UPS Ground Saver Labels

  • 1 min read

UPS is introducing improved UPS Ground Saver® service, but there’s one key change you need to act on.

Starting May 4, 2026, all shipments must use the new 2026 dual labels with USPS information. Using old single labels will result in a $5 per package fee.

What to do:Make sure your shipping system can generate the updated labels with Package Level Detail (PLD).

  • Systems like ups.com, UPS CampusShip®, and UPS Ship API are already compliant.

  • For third-party platforms, check with your provider or switch temporarily if needed.

Bottom line: Update now to avoid fees and keep your shipments running smoothly.
