How DHL Is Making Post-Holiday Returns Less Painful

Recent coverage highlights DHL Supply Chain’s launch of the DHL ReTurn Network in North America, a multi-client reverse logistics system designed to streamline returns and ease post-holiday operational pressures.

The 11-facility network manages returns for a variety of customers and product types, balancing demand across multiple clients to optimize labor, space, and transportation costs. Proprietary software, ReSKU, standardizes employee decision-making, speeding up returns processing and ensuring consistency.

Enabled by last year’s acquisitions of Inmar Supply Chain Solutions and IDS Fulfillment, the ReTurn Network enhances DHL’s reverse logistics capabilities, especially for small- to medium-sized clients. By smoothing peak-season surges and delivering a seamless returns experience, DHL not only improves operations but also strengthens customer loyalty.
