FedEx Teams Up with OneRail for Faster Same-Day Delivery

According to a recent SupplyChainDive report, FedEx is rolling out SameDay Local in collaboration with OneRail, giving customers the option of two-hour or end-of-day delivery across a variety of shipments. By tapping into OneRail’s AI-powered platform and a network of over 1,000 carriers nationwide, the service delivers optimized routing, real-time tracking, and round-the-clock monitoring. This move enhances FedEx’s last-mile capabilities and positions the company to better compete with retail giants investing in faster, on-demand delivery.
